Azaleas
Azaleas are the epitome of the South, and are all members of the genus Rhododendron. These are easy to grow plants for sun or shade and many are great in containers. We have grown azaleas for over thirty years and hope you will try some of our favorites.

Cat. No: 1047 VIREYA RHODODENDRONS
Vireya rhododendrons are epiphytic tropical plants from New Guinea, Borneo, and throughout the Malay-Indonesian chain of islands. We have found these exotic plants very easy to grow as long as they are not exposed to below-freezing temperatures. These plants are not seasonal bloomers and can bloom year round with flowers in a wide range of brilliant colors. Best grown in a well –aerated mix with water retention abilities, such as you may use for bromeliads or orchids. Fertilize with Peters 20-20-20 at one half strength.
